Join Our Board of Directors

We’re delighted to announce an open call for people to serve on our Board of Directors in a volunteer capacity. If you care deeply about advancing labor rights for people who work in the fashion industry and have the expertise we’re looking for, we’d love to hear from you.

About Model Alliance

The Model Alliance is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that aims to advance fair treatment, equal opportunity, and sustainable practices in the fashion industry, from the runway to the factory floor. Our work is centered around the truth that despite fashion’s glamorous façade, the industry is rife with human rights abuses and has been built on the backs of women and girls across the globe who experience debt bondage, sexual abuse, and human trafficking. That’s why we’ve pioneered a new model of labor activism – one that centers workers’ expertise to establish meaningful standards and ensure dignified working conditions in the fashion industry. As a grassroots organization, we are internationally recognized as a leading voice for labor rights in the fashion industry, and our strategic approach to research, education and advocacy has helped us establish a track record of success.

Are You a Fit for this Position?

We are looking for people with experience, skills and resources who can contribute to our mission. As a small nonprofit organization that aims to grow, we are particularly interested to hear from applicants with expertise in fundraising and development.
